Reasons to Join Me in Bali #10: This Adventure Will Make You Very, Very, Very Happy

Travel Writing Tip #10: It may take you a while to discover what your story is and how it should be told.

This will be my third year leading the  Write, Travel, Transform trip to Bali and every year, it just gets better.

The most important reason you should come to Bali is how it will make you feel.

Our trip to Bali can take you from your current stressed out state and make you very, very happy.

Just look what happened to Larae from North Carolina and more recently from Santa Cruz. She’s a banker who’s writing a memoir:

Don’t you want to feel that good? Or like I did after I climbed under this waterfall?

Or like Tawnya and I did, just hanging out together. Where else do you get to hang out with your favorite writing teacher like this?

Here’s what Vanya, who came on last year’s trip had to say:

Here’s what some of our other satisfied, happy travelers have told us about their time in Bali with us:

This trip is unique. It’s more than a chance to explore Bali; it’s a way to go deeper into yourself, to be awake and aware. This was a complete travel experience: learning and seeing the culture and history, action and adventure (snorkeling and hiking), self-care through yoga and massage, facials and pedicures. And this is key, the writing with Laura helped me experience the trip more fully and to become a better writer. It was a wonderful way to connect to the other participants.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You created an experience that touched my soul and opened deep levels of creativity and inspiration. Your trip to Bali is a gift that will keep on giving for my entire life.

Leave all of your inhibitions at home. Come with an open mind so you can absorb the amazing smells, sights and sounds of Bali. I’m so glad I came. I will admire the Balinese culture for the rest of my life.

-Gilda Zelin, Santa Cruz

Your retreat provided me with great adventures, a healing connection with others, the chance to deepen my writing, and the opportunity to heal my mind, body and spirit. I got to experience and connect with a wonderful nourishing country and its people. Your magical retreat taught me to never give up before the miracle.

Writing and yoga were a great combination and created a wonderful balance. One fed my mind and the other fed my body. Both fed my spirit.  I would recommend this trip, without a doubt. I had a blast on so many different levels. Just go! It will be a healing trip for you, regardless of what you’re looking for.
