Michaela and I took a long, dreamy local train ride along the Douro River from a small town station to the end of the line and back. Great way to spend the day.

This dog didn’t know enough to get off the tracks in the station master had to get him to move when the train pulled in.
There were some cool old trains at the station.

What a gorgeous day! And restful too. I only paid 7 euros for my senior ticket on the local train.
